My approach to therapy is to lead with empathy and understanding I am grounded by evidence informed theory. I work collaboratively with the individual to identify and work towards their specific goals.
I am neurodivertent affirming and I am particularly skilled at finding and explaining what is beneath the surface, making complex issues more understandable and manageable.
I am a life-long learner, committed to on-going professional and personal development.
I am a qualified registered social worker with five years of professional experience supporting individuals, families, and children across a variety of settings. My work has spanned community-based services, family support programs, and employee assistance programs (EAP). I have supported clients presenting with a broad spectrum of concerns, including complex family dynamics, parenting challenges, and a variety of mental health needs. I have also worked extensively in the area of domestic and family violence, providing trauma-informed, safety-focused interventions to individuals in crisis.
I have a bachelor of Social Work (honours) from the University of Newcastle and a Masters of Counselling from Torrens University. I am qualified to deliver EMDR therapy and have other certificates in various modalitys such as Solution Focused Therapy, Circle of security.
I have developed particular expertise in working with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, whether recent or historical. I also have experience supporting individuals through grief, loss, and significant life transitions, I provide parenting support across all stages of child development, offering practical strategies. My work frequently involves supporting clients with a range of mental health concerns.
A passion area of mine is supporting caregivers and indivduals who live with ADHD and Autism to understand neurodiversity on a deeper level and provide strategies that improve wellbeing.

The therapy sessions run for 50 minutes, this allows for preparation and administration.
